Up to July, 2020, the VBS manufacture is completing the installation of vibration mill technology. This machine is of brand MPW – a new type of energy-saving grinding equipment, which utilizes the principle of eccentric vibration to produce cyclic motion and micro-vibration of the medium in mill. Therefore, it has obvious advantages over other rotary mills. The machine has the advantages of high vibration strength, high grinding efficiency, low power consumption, low noise, compact structure, convenient installation and maintenance, and can be widely used in grinding materials, chemical raw materials, powders, metallurgy, special ceramics and deep processing of non-metallic mineral fine powder and superfine powder.

Operating principle and structure
MPW series single cylinder vibration mill is composed of (1) cylinder, (2) vibration exciter, (3) frame, (4) compound spring, (5) flexible coupling and (6) electric motor.
Working principle: The electric motor drives the eccentric block in the vibration exciter to rotate through the tire type flexible coupling, which generates periodic exciting force, causes high-frequency vibration of the cylinder supported on the vibration damper spring. The medium in the mill firstly generates strong projectile motion, which quickly crushes large pieces of material. At the same time, high speed rotation and slow revolution of grinding medium, producing uniform grinding effect on the material.The material entering the cylinder becomes fine powder under the impact and grinding effect of grinding medium. With the material balance moves towards the discharge port, it finally discharged from the discharge port.
1. Cylinder
The cylinder is composed of two half cylinder bodies connected by bolts. The cylinder body is lined with wear-resistant non-metallic porcelain lining. The grinding lining is bonded with the cylinder body by epoxy resin. The inlet and outlet are at both ends of the cylinder body. The flange is used to connect with the external equipment.
The cylinder is not equipped with cooling device. For the heat sensitive materials produced in the grinding process, the manufacturer can be contacted to add water cooling structure.
2. Vibration exciter
Each set of exciter has 2 groups, which are composed of rolling bearing and main and auxiliary eccentric blocks. The bearing is lubricated with thin oil. During the first use, a sufficient amount of lubricating oil must be added, and the oil level shall not be less than 1/3 of the height of the bearing roller (about 23-25kg oil per vibrator). N68 mechanical oil is used as the lubricating oil. The two groups of exciters are connected by universal coupling; the included angle between the main and auxiliary eccentric blocks can be adjusted within the range of 0-90°as required. When the included angle is 0°, the excitation force is the largest, the vibration of the mill is the largest, and the grinding effect on the materials is the strongest. Each exciter has two fans, which are mainly used for cooling the exciter to prevent the bearing temperature from being too high.
3. Flexible coupling
The coupling is mainly composed of flexible sheet, flange, pressing plate, bolt, etc., which is mainly used to transfer torque and make the motor not vibrate.
4. Main vibration device
The device is mainly composed of 16 composite spring and 2 set of counter-weight. The composite spring is arranged under each cylinder separately and connected with the foundation and the exciter, and together with the exciter, it forms a high frequency vibration system. At the same time, 16 composite springs play a role of vibration reduction on the foundation, which can effectively reduce the foundation load.
Vibration mill technology of quartz stone is not only a prerequisite link, but also an important processing stage in quartz stone powder production line. As a pioneer enterprise, we hope that the strong cooperation with partners will contribute to the shift in the market of stone powder from imported raw materials to Vietnamese pure materials, supporting the value of Vietnamese products.
The project of VBS quartz stone powder factory organized by ICMC for construction, management and supervision is expected to be completed by the end of August 2020.
